Very recognised as a menopause-friendly employer
August 1, 2025
The Very Group’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, namely being a menopause-friendly workplace, has been recognised by Henpicked.
With over half of the Group’s colleagues being female, menopause is something which will impact the majority of the organisation’s workforce – either first hand or through their teammates.
Henpicked, the UK-based community and digital platform that empowers women over 40, is supporting The Very Group on its journey to become an accredited organisation for its commitment to being menopause-friendly.
As part of its ongoing work enhance the colleague experience, Very has introduced a number of new resources to support those going through menopause – including the creation of a menopause awareness guide and an E-learning module. What’s more, through the company’s women at Very (WAVE) network, colleagues have been involved in hosting coffee mornings and events to raise awareness, while offering guidance to those needing further support.
Kim Pritchard, head of diversity and inclusion at The Very Group: “We want everyone at Very to feel welcomed, represented and valued, especially when they’re going through big life events such as the menopause.
“We’ve worked really hard to make sure those going through the menopause feel supported in the workplace, while also educating those around them on the side-effects and impacts it can have – both in their personal lives and in the workplace. This recognition from Handpicked is a significant milestone in our journey toward building a truly inclusive workplace.”
