Hat-trick of award wins for The Very Group
August 25, 2026
The Very Group is celebrating a trio of award wins, with three teams receiving recognition for their work. From delivering impactful campaigns and award-winning partnerships to developing industry-leading products, the wins reflect the innovation, expertise and teamwork that power the business every day.
An award-winning approach to speech analytics
The Very Group has won Gold at the CCA Excellence Awards, recognising the team’s innovative use of speech analytics to better understand and support customers.
The CCA Excellence Awards rewarded The Very Group with Gold in the Best Use of Customer Insight and Machine Intelligence category. This triumph highlights the impact of speech analytics capability, helping the team to adapt and transform customer conversations into more meaningful insights that improve customer outcomes across the business.
This gold achievement recognises the strength of the Group’s approach and the dedication of the teams pushing it forward.
Sarah Appleton, speech analytics manager at The Very Group shared: “Very winning Gold at the CCA Excellence Awards is an amazing achievement and a proud moment for everyone involved. By turning customer conversations into meaningful insights, we can make more informed decisions that improve outcomes for our customers.
“This award is a testament to the expertise and dedication of colleagues across The Very Group who work hard to ensure every customer conversation counts, ultimately helping families get more out of life.”
Top of the class for Very’s PE kits
Very has been named joint winner for Best School PE Kit in this year’s MadeForMums School Uniform Awards.
Very’s selection was praised for its soft, flexible fabrics which offered freedom of movement and exceptional wash performance, with children so comfortable they didn't want to take the kit off.
The result is based on structured, hands-on testing by real MadeForMums families, who assessed school uniform and PE kit for fit, quality, wash performance, value, comfort and ease of dressing, in addition to feedback from a 500+ strong MadeForMums School Uniform Survey.
Vic Nelson, trading director at The Very Group commented: “As families start thinking about uniforms for the new school year, I’m delighted that Very’s PE range has been recognised as one of the best on the market! We work hard to make sure we’re offering customers high quality, durable products so to receive such strong feedback from 500+ individuals is incredible.”
A gold standard collaboration
Very Media Group, the retail media network operated by The Very Group, has picked up Best Collaboration at the Prolific North Creative Awards for its Party Season: From Midnight to Morning Light campaign.
The activation brought together some of fashion and beauty's biggest brands including Dyson, L'Oréal, SharkNinja, River Island, ICONIC LONDON and Benefit Cosmetics. The campaign was designed to help Very customers get party season ready - from finding the perfect outfit to discovering their beauty must-haves.
This award is testament to the power of collaboration and what can be achieved when great brands come together to create standout retail media experiences.
Shrina Patel, head of retail media at The Very Group, commented: “We know that party season is a big calendar moment for Very’s customers, so being able to bring the online department store to life through this activation was an exciting moment. I’m proud that the team’s hard work has been recognised because this truly was a great example of collaboration from a team, agency and brand point of view!”
