The Very Group has been shortlisted for three prestigious industry awards, while leaders across the business have received accolades for their commitment to excellence and innovation.
2025 Logistics Awards
The Very Group has been shortlisted in the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year category at this year’s Logistics Awards. This demonstrates the ongoing commitment to ensuring every colleague, customer and member of the community feels welcomed, represented and valued.
Retail Gazette Game Changer Awards
Very’s award-winning ‘Let’s make it sparkle’ brand platform has been shortlisted for the marketing game changer award at the Retail Gazette Game Changer Awards. The category recognises and celebrates marketing innovation which has not just pioneered new approaches to marketing but have delivered sales and profit growth.
Corporate & Financial Awards
Elsewhere within the business, Very’s investor relations and external communications team has been shortlisted in the Corporate & Financial Awards for the Group’s FY24 annual report. The awards spotlight excellence in corporate communications, while shining a light on the innovative strategies propelling the financial sector.
Individual industry accolades
In addition to teams across the business being recognised for their ongoing work to help The Very Group deliver on its purpose of helping families get more out of life, leaders from across the business have also been recognised.
- Sarah Willet, chief people officer, has been shortlisted for the Most Inclusive Chief People Officer in Retail Award at this year’s Inclusion inAwards. Sarah is being recognised for her outstanding achievements, ongoing commitment to inclusion and contribution to the sector
- Steve Nolan, chief information officer, has been named Liverpool’s CIO of the Year in this year’s C-Suite Insider Leadership Awards Programme. This is testament to Steve’s ongoing commitment to innovation, leadership and strategic thinking.
- Mark Stocker, creative manager, has been named as one of the top 50 e-commerce studio professionals by Pixelz. The carefully curated list spotlights innovators who strive to improve their workplaces while extending their creativity and knowledge into every aspect of their role. Mark has been named as one of the top Studio Leaders thanks to his ability to lead with humility and kindness.
