Very announced as the official sponsor of The Traitors Ireland
August 7, 2025
Very Ireland has been announced as the official advertising sponsor of the brand-new The Traitors Ireland.
The Traitors Ireland, which is a smash hit television series in the UK, US and Netherlands, is set to hit screens later this year. Ireland will be the new location for the well-known reality competition with the iconic Slane Castle Co Meath as it’s backdrop.
Players will compete in a game of trust and deceit, carrying out missions and working undercover, for the possibility to win up to €50,000. The show is set to be a big hit with Irish viewers, and the new sponsorship gives Very the chance to be front of mind among Irish families in the run up to Christmas.
Very’s iconic Irish flamingo, Cherry, will feature on screens, adorned in full traitors’ attire; the sponsorship deal includes 240 Verycredited stings airing across The Traitors Ireland episodes on RTÉ One and RTÉ One +1.
The sponsorship extends further, including coverage on all of the live showings on RTÉ Player and all catch up episodes, with features on social media channels too.
Catherine O’Toole, Head of Marketing at Very Ireland said: “The Traitors is a show that has become a global phenomenon, a cultural moment that sparks conversation, fuels speculation, and keeps audiences guessing, and we can’t wait for it to come to Ireland!
"Through our sponsorship of The Traitors Ireland, which is set to be a key cultural moment this autumn, we’ll be able to bring our ‘flamazing’ brand world into play and add a splash of flamboyance to the mystery. Viewers will see distinctly Very branded stings across the live shows and on catch-up featuring our much-loved Irish flamingo, Cherry. We’re proud to champion Irish storytelling and production, and this collaboration is a testament to our ongoing commitment to premium partnerships that build meaningful, long-term connections with our customers.”
The new season of the traitors is set to air in Ireland later this year, on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
