Looking back at three months of HelloStudio with Julie Phelan
June 19, 2025
It’s been three months since we launched HelloStudio, and what a quarter it has been!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with HelloStudio, it’s the reimagining of The Very Group’s creative studio, bringing a new look and new name to the creative power that is well-established in The Very Group's 100-year history. In fact, the team behind HelloStudio has been working with brands, delivering eye-catching creative campaigns for years now.
So, while the proposition looks new, working with brands on creative concepts has been at the heart of The Very Group for a long time. And now that we’ve been up and running as HelloStudio for three months, here are my highlights:
Launching at Unboxed

When something has been long in the making, being able to finally shout about it from the rooftops is so exciting! However, instead of rooftops, I took to the stage at Very Media Group’s Unboxed conference to announce the launch of HelloStudio to our brand partners.
As much as we’re now an in-house agency, meaning any external brand can reach out to tap into our creative services, creating content for Very and its brand partners remains a big part of what we do. This is the exact reason why we decided to launch the new proposition at Unboxed. The room was filled with some of our biggest partners and not only were we able to give them a formal overview, we had some great conversations off stage which really got the excitement going!
HelloStudio’s first end-to-end campaign

Even though we’re the same team who have been collaborating on campaigns for years, there was something special about executing the first one as HelloStudio – especially when the results were so good!
As part of the ongoing Very Media Group partnership with Adidas, we were tasked with coming up with an eye catching, creative content campaign which would resonate with the Very customer and easily integrate into Very’s Haus of Flamingo fashion platform.
The Spring campaign was such a success that the brand has invested in an additional summer campaign which is a follow on from last season’s creative.
We’ve reimagined poolside style with Adidas Originals in a bold follow-up to our Spring Haus of Flamingo Campaign – “Just Landed”. Set against the sun-soaked backdrop of our very own Pool Haus, this integrated campaign brings head-turning looks from pool to bar – think standout swimwear, laid-back footwear, and effortless finishing touches – across onsite takeovers, offsite media, and beyond.
It’s giving sunshine, style, and serious vibes! We know Very’s customers are going to love it, and we can’t wait to see the results!
Fuelling ambition and growing the team

To help us achieve our ambitious growth plans, we’ve started to grow our team! In fact, over the last three months we’ve created a number of new roles in the HelloStudio team. These include roles such as casting lead and senior art director.
Plus, to bolster the leadership team, we’ll soon be welcoming a new head of creative direction. As part of the role, we’ll be working closely together to make sure we’re an agency set-up to deliver top-notch creative content for both Very and our brand partners.
It’s a really exciting time for HelloStudio, and I can’t wait to see our creative capabilities go from strength to strength. If you’re a creative looking for an exciting new role, make sure you keep an eye on our careers site!
