We’re working hard to nurture an inclusive culture and celebrate the benefits that diversity can bring at every stage of the experience of working for Very.

Creating opportunities for diversity

Our paid internships and apprenticeships, along with roles we created as part of the Government’s Kickstart initiative, are helping to open doors for young people from all backgrounds.

Through our career reinvention programme, we're creating a pathway back to work for tech professionals who have taken an extended career break. And our partnership with InnovateHer aims to give girls and non-binary teens confidence in tech careers.

Joining our team

We’ve launched an anonymous inclusion and diversity survey as part of our application process, developed gender-based hiring targets and introduced a more diverse range of options for gender disclosure.

We’ve also made our careers site more accessible and  work closely with the Royal National Institue of Blind People.

Our hybrid working model gives greater flexibility than ever before and, after a ‘lockdown glow up’, our offices have been transformed with more inclusive facilities.

Our wellbeing programme is digital-first and accessible on demand, while our colleague-led networks like WAVE (Women at Very), Pride Allies and Race at Very help people come together, create bonds and break down barriers to inclusion.
